The Emergency Perimeter

Sometimes life changes faster than we can process it.

A job disappears. A relationship ends. Housing changes unexpectedly. A plan falls apart. Suddenly, you're standing in a situation you didn't prepare for and trying to answer a much smaller question than “How do I fix my life?”

What do I do next?

That's why I wrote The Emergency Perimeter.

It's a short framework and guidebook designed to help you slow the situation down, identify what actually requires your attention, understand what capacity you have available, and determine your next workable step.

The digital version has been available through Gumroad, but I've increasingly seen the value of having a physical copy—something you can write in, keep nearby, hand to someone else, or place somewhere people can access it when they need it.

The paperback is now available on Amazon.

Physical copies are also currently being considered by two crisis centers, two libraries, and a community center, which has been an unexpected and encouraging extension of what I originally built as a practical tool for navigating difficult situations.
